Conference Overview
Leadership starts with the individual. This program focuses on personal growth and capitalizes on the wisdom, courage, and strength students need to be successful as individual leaders. Made for Excellence is a one-day experience open to ALL sophomore Texas FFA members and will be held in conjunction with the Building Excellence and Executing with Excellence conferences. The 2018 - 2019 conference dates have now been released, see details below! The same conference will be hosted at all locations across Texas on each of the different dates.

Why should I come?

- Facilitated by prominent former FFA members, including state and national officers
- Rejuvenation for the chapter
- 3-in-1 stop
- Section C of TEKS
- Texas FFA scholarship application
- Chapter award applications

1. Define leadership and identify characteristics that make a strong leader.
2. Identify the significance of choices made everyday.
3. Identify their own strengths and implement strategies for utilizing teammates' strengths.
4. Identify their interests and find opportunities their interests and strengths create.
