Are you interested in pursuing a degree in Plant and Environmental Soil Sciences or Turfgrass Science? The Department of Soil & Crop Sciences at TAMU is one of the largest departments of its kind in the nation that equips students with the knowledge and skills to manage soil, water and plant systems that are sustainable for both civilization and the environment.
The department offers scholarships on a competitive basis to academically outstanding freshmen. Highly qualified incoming freshmen students may receive up to $4,000 per year for 4 years (a total of $16,000.) These scholarships are not part of the university common application process and require a separate application submitted directly to the department.
