Thought Questions for Texas FFA's Leadership on Demand Videos

As we all continue to navigate these uncharted waters, our mission remains to provide students with opportunities for premier leadership, personal growth and career success. The duration of our current situation is unknown, but Texas FFA state staff and state officers are collaborating to create engaging content for students.
Leadership on Demand Videos and Thought Questions
Texas FFA currently releases a new Leadership on Demand video each month. These short, two minute or less, videos focus on topics centered around leadership development, personal development, and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL).
To continue development in our students from afar, Texas FFA has developed three to five thought questions for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 Leadership on Demand videos. These questions have been screened to incorporate Bloom’s Taxonomy with the intent of students reflecting on situations to apply the lessons covered in these videos.
The state officers provided a statement about their hope for this resource: “Our aspiration with this resource is to provide members with a safe, distant, and digital tool that can enhance their personal development from home. No matter the circumstance, an FFA member always perseveres. It is our responsibility to continue developing ourselves in order to positively influence our communities and those around us. We encourage members to utilize these resources and grow, just as we know they can.”
Access to these videos can be found on our website here and by clicking “Leadership on Demand.” There, you will find a list of video topics with links to the actual videos. At the bottom of each video is a section entitled “Thought Questions” with the 3-5 questions listed.
Please know that we stand ready and willing to assist you during these uncertain times. You are more than welcome to reach out with questions regarding this resource or any needs you may have to continue the personal development of your students at angelica@texasffa.org.
