Texas FFA,

About this time every year everything seems like a blur to me.  We have so many different things going on and time just keeps flying by.  It seems as if the school year is wrapping up, however there is still so much to do and participate in.

I hope stock show season has been good to all of you and I hope everyone going to Houston has a great time. Something about those green shavings always got me excited.  CDEs are also right around the corner so I am sure many of you are practicing very hard. Remember hard work, pays off!

The school year is quickly coming to an end and it seems as if you can’t wait for it to get here. However, you must make the most of it. There are so many things still to come this year. I am here to remind you, don’t just try to get through the year, make the most of the upcoming events.  Opportunities and goals still await you; they are just waiting for you to achieve them.

It is very important that we keep striving to be better and we don’t let our fire and drive dwindle down before the year is over.  As we all know, it will be here soon enough so we must go after what is in front of us.  I will leave you with this quote, “Successful and unsuccessful people do not vary greatly in their abilities. They vary in their desires to reach their potential.” – John Maxwell

God Bless,
