Foundation Recognizes Sponsors Unwavering Support

The Texas FFA Foundation hosted the 2019 VIP breakfast to thank sponsors for their generous contributions and support on July 18, during the annual state convention.
Texas FFA supporters and donors are a crucial reason the Texas FFA is able to continue the development, funding, and implementation of cutting edge learning opportunities. Sponsors support a mission that matters.
“Without the help from each and every one of our sponsors, our member's dreams would not have the opportunity to become a reality,” said Grace Kempken, Friendswood FFA. “We are able to grow and create opportunities for ourselves all because our sponsors saw something unique in each one of us.”
Before the conclusion of the breakfast, Jake Paine, Director of Global Sales of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Inc., received the prestigious Passion for Excellence award. This award is given annually to an individual who has demonstrated a passion of service to others.
The Texas FFA Foundation works with a core value of developing stewardship in our homes and communities. The annual award is a way of recognizing those who give to make their communities a better place to live and work.
“Without our sponsors, most of our programs, scholarships, and convention wouldn’t exist,” said Jillian Gilchrist, Van FFA. “We owe our sponsors so much for supporting the members of Texas FFA in a multitude of ways.”
