2017-2018 Officers Welcome Members to Convention

Welcome to Fort Worth and the 90th Annual Texas FFA State Convention, presented by Justin Boots and Farm Credit. The Texas FFA State Officer Team would like to invite you to take part in a fun-filled week of celebration, opportunity, and new experiences. Society is in need of individuals like you to take charge in the positive change that could influence many.
The streets of Fort Worth will be filled with a sea of more than 12,000 blue corduroy jackets throughout these next days. With Fort Worth having such a rich history in agriculture, this city is a perfect fit for convention. You are sure to have a memorable and influential week. During convention, we will hear from our talented state choir, recognize state champions of various contests, provide scholarships to hundreds of deserving members, and slate a new group of individuals to serve as the 2018-2019 Texas FFA State Officer Team.
There is a lot to get excited about! The Fort Worth Convention Center will be filled with energy this week as you attend the Flatland Cavalry concert, watch talent teams perform, and hear keynote speakers. Texas FFA has been recognized as the state with the largest membership growth in 2017. We have more than 123,000 members that can empower our world. Texas FFA members, you have the potential to make a mark in this organization! This week is for you to take pride in the influence and growth that you can exhibit.
Texas FFA members, it’s official. “IT’S TIME” for convention! We can’t wait for you to join us during the first general session as we initiate an action-packed, exhilarating week. We encourage you to start your journey towards a greater potential this week at the 2018 Texas FFA State Convention.
