Since its founding in 1994, the chorus has provided FFA members with a unique opportunity to showcase their vocal talent while promoting the values of leadership, teamwork and tradition. Each year, selected members from across the state rehearse in the days leading up to convention and perform throughout the week on the main stage.
What began as a small ensemble has grown into a convention staple, delivering powerful renditions of patriotic songs, classic hits and original arrangements that inspire thousands of attendees.
As the chorus celebrates three decades of harmony and heritage, alumni and current members can reflect on the friendships, confidence and memories that have shaped their time in the blue corduroy.
In addition, Jeanna Baibos, who has worked with the Texas FFA Chorus for more than 25 years, was honored with the prestigious E.R. Alexander Award at the conclusion of the event. This award is given to individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership and volunteer services rendered to the Texas FFA Association. She spent five years serving as the accompanist before becoming the chorus director in 2005.
This year’s anniversary performance honored the past while setting the stage for the next generation of Texas FFA talent.
