2019 Texas FFA Convention Delegate Process      
Each chapter is entitled to send voting delegates to the convention to cast a vote for in elections for state officer, state president and talent contest and participate in deliberations and decisions concerning the future of the organization. 

Delegates MUST be in complete official dress pursuant to Texas standards. This is strictly enforced.

Each chapter delegate must print delegate entry credentials through the roster management system. All students entering the delegate floor must have their membership card.

There is a possibility of electronic voting through the convention mobile app which may be accessed at m.texasffa.org. Each delegate should have this on their phone and have access to a smart phone. Check-in computers can be used for those without access to a smart phone

Chapters/delegates should print the delegate business session packet (located in the "Documents" section) and bring it on Wednesday morning.

Delegate check-in begins at 1:15 p.m. and closes at 1:50 p.m.

Wednesday, July 17, 8:00 a.m. Area Delegation Caucuses
Report to the Area Caucus Meeting Rooms listed above.
Registration begins at 7:00 a.m.
Election of State Officer and Business Session Briefing

Wednesday, July 17, 10:00 a.m. Second General Session and Business Session #1
Delegates will travel as a group from the area caucuses to the general session

Wednesday, July 17, 1:30 p.m. Third General Session and Business Session #2 (if needed)
Delegate check-in begins at 12:45 p.m and ends at 1:20 p.m.

Wednesday, July 17, 6:00 p.m. Stars Night and Lone Star Degree Ceremony
No delegate seating

Thursday, July 18, 9:00 a.m. Fifth General Session and State President Election
Delegate check-in begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 8:50 a.m. 

Thursday, July 18, 6:30 p.m. Fun Night and Talent Competition
Delegate check-in begins 6:00 p.m. and ends at 6:25 p.m.

Friday, July 19, 9:00 a.m., Final Session 
Delegate check-in begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 8:50 a.m.
No official business. Delegate sign-in is a formality for the final session.
