Housing Information

Housing for the Texas FFA Convention is now open! This year, Texas FFA will not be using a Central Housing System. However, to support our host city of Dallas and manage our housing efficiently, schools are encouraged to call only the hotels listed below for rooms. USING THESE HOTELS WILL HELP FFA EARN FINANCIAL INCENTIVES FROM THE CITY OF DALLAS AND KEEP REGISTRATION COSTS LOW FOR THE MEMBERS. Again, please do not use hotels outside of the FFA hotel list. You will be asked for your hotel confirmation number during the registration process to confirm your convention hotel.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Call any of the hotels on the list and ask for the Texas FFA Convention Rate or use the link to go to a specially created reservations webpage. As the hotels fill up, we will add SOLD OUT to the page so Advisors will not be calling hotels that have already filled their room blocks. Our HQ property this year, the Sheraton Dallas has over 800 rooms in the property.
New rooms have been added to the housing block at the Sheraton. Call 888-627-8191 for reservations and be sure to ask for the Texas FFA Room Block.

2. You will be asked for a credit card to confirm your reservations. Credit cards should not be charged unless the room is not cancelled within the designated time period. Please check with the hotel to confirm their cancellation policy! Some hotels require cancellations a week prior to arrival or you will be charged!
3. All reservations must be made by June 15th to receive the FFA Convention Rate. After this time, the blocks and convention rate may no longer be available.
4. Please keep track of your hotel confirmation number. You will be asked for your hotel and confirmation during the registration process. FFA must report hotel usage to the city in order to support financial incentives from the city.
5. Hotel rooms are subject to a 15% hotel occupancy tax. You may be exempt from the state portion of the tax if you supply your school’s tax form.
If you have additional questions or problems with a hotel, please email Stacey Jones, staceyltcp@aol.com or Laura Traylor, ltraylor@austin.rr.com for assistance.
